| | Do you swear by any product? | | Advertisers usually hire celebrities to endorse their products, but then sometimes they've got loyal consumers they don't ever pay attention to. It's annoying that way--they force someone to advertise them for millions, when all the while we're all around advertising them for absolutely free! Ironic...Do you swear by any product? It can be anything from detergent to cars. There's that part of the crowd who uses only and ONLY that certain brand, and I find it fascinating to know what the brands are.I, for example.- DOVE - bath soap.[All the other soaps leave me scratching my skin all day long, whereas Dove doesn't give me any trouble.]
- MyGel - pen.[I have a thing for dropping my writing material all the time. I can drop MyGel all day, and it'd still write through and through.]
- Bench and Kashieca - clothes.[They're both local brands, and they make really good apparel. Bench, I believe, has now branched out abroad. Try to see them sometime.]
- Nestle - cereal.
- Canon - camera and camcorder.
- MICROSOFT!=)Of course, my list could go on and on and on, but these are the ones at the top of my head right now.- Jergens Cooling Sensation - lotion[This...
| | Do you enjoy photography? | | my hubby loves cameras and we have five cameras. i too love photography. when my hubby was in Mexico he cliked so many pics of nature that i loved to see them when i am alone. i too love to clik in nature, but now after having a baby my camera's fav item to clik is my BABY. i just love to clik her pics, and even make videos of her doing mischiefs.who all there also enjoy photography and have cliked tonnes of pics.
my hubby is havng two big suitcases full of positives as well as their negatives because at that time digital cameras were not there. one suitcase full of pictures is with one of his friends who is in Mexico. he left it with him for a memory because he loved his cliked pics.and wanted to keep them. so before coming back he gave one full suitcase to him with a beautiful Canon camera.
| | Have you bought anything from eBay? If so, what items? | | In my case, I think I have bought about ten items since joining eBay two or three years ago e.g, a digital Canon camera (from Japan; that was probably my best buy yet as it was really a bargain), leather wallets and purses (from the UK), handbag, ipod with video (from the US), LCD screen protector, perfume, nintendo DS lite, gameboy advance, etc. I am generally satisfied with all these items. Bidding was fun too.How about you? Any items you bought from eBay? | |
| | error 99 in my canon. | | i bought my canon 350d 3 years ago. 1 year ago there's an ERR 99 appear in the camera display. the guarantee card has had expired already. but the service agent couldn't fix it either. later i found out that the ERR 99 come from the lens that come with the camera when i bought it. apparently i'm not the only one who have ERR 99 in the canon camera. lots of friends have it with variable reason. until today the ERR 99 can't be fixed. do you guys have the same problem?what do you do to fix that? | |
| | | Shooting in Lowlight, which digi cam is best? | | I was fascinated with lowlight shooting. My canon camera with IS lens seems to be up for the job but trying other cameras like Nikon D80, it seems to have better color saturation. What is your experience? Below is one taken with 400D canon digital SLR. I've also used 300D and 10D. | |
| | Canon, 400D or 40D? | | The one thing I can remember when holding the canon camera is the word HEAVY.
Their models are quite heavy and with my existing hand strength, holding them for about 15 mins and my hands are already shaking. Without the image stabilizer on, none of my shots after 15 mins are clear due to the movement of my hands when I snap the trigger to take the picture. The 400D is slightly smaller than the 40D. Comparing the specifications of the two, the 40D has better specs than the 400D
Being new to the DSLR realm, the 400D is highly recommended for beginners.
The simple to use interface and the new CMOS technologies found in most Canon DSLR, it is the best in the market for DSLR.
What I personally do not like about the Canon DSLRs are the pixel per inch resolution of the camera.
I do not know why, but the pixel per inch of the photos taken by the ixus series is 180.
But for the DSLRs, the picture resolution is only 72 pixels per inch.
