| My Sony DVD RW does not read all DVDs? Need Help. | | I have a "sony dvd RW AW G-170A" it reads only select DVDs. What I mean to say is that when I first bought it, it was able to read all type of DVDs but now when I insert any multisession discs it fails to read. But when I use ISO Buster after a couple of tries it reads it clearly. I dont understand what is wrong with it. I need serious help on this. Please help it anybody has any solution. | |

| | My CD drive can play DVD but can't play VCD. | | I am using DVD drive "SONY DVD RW AW-G170A". I can play dvd there but I can't see any details in properties. I can't play vcd there. Is this software fault or a hardware failure?

| | I Dont get the Problem.I get an Error after 3% | | last time when i have formatted the system as usually i have installed all the drivers and came to know that i am not able to write a cd/dvd.i am using nero 8.whenever i select all the files to be written on to the dvd and start burning.every thing seems goes well for the first 2% and then once it enters 3% it shows an error saying burning of disk has failed.i dont get the reason is there any problem with the dvd drive or some thing else.i have even tried using different nero versions but the same repeats.i have even tried to search in google but none of these kind of questions were answered.i thought i can find an answer here.i have an sony dvd/rw. | |

| | Is DVD brand name a matter? | | I recently bought a DVD player from HHGregg, with merely $45. What a great deal I considered at the moment. It plays all my recorded DVD, and I love it so much. I also suggest a friend of mine to get one. It was a Sony brand name.
After he got to the store, all the Sony DVD players were sold out. I suggested him to get on with JVC brand name, it has the same function. He was reluctant to buy it, due to its brand name. Does brand name such a big deal to you when you purchasing an electronic item? | |

recently i purchased asus p5n73-am mother board (nvidia nforce 810i graffic card onboard) but only one time it showed cd or dvd rom when i installed windows xp now in bios and also window mother board not detecting cd rom it show "s@mrung" (samsung)and "rony (sony dvd)" and i can't acces cd or dvd or can't refresh the system i changed my ide cable 3 times, many time i clear cmos but i can't acces cd or dvd anybody know how i play cd or dvd on this system i change the ram also. | |
