SanDisk?
Do you use SanDisk Cruzer? And if so do you like SanDisk and its programs?
Creating Playlists on my new MP3 Player - SanDisk Sansa
I recently purchased this mighty mp3 player. 1gb of memory. Holds enough music for a day's worth of listening. I can swap it out anytime I want. Easy import using Windows Media Player. It's perfect - conceptually. Two things: ONE - I can't figure out how to import PLAYLISTS. Even if I import music in already-created playlists, the Sansa doesn't seem to recognize the lists. The music is all there - alphabetically by artist. But I want my playlists. One for the gym. One for meditation. One for writing. You know what I mean!TWO - The backlight isn't working properly anymore. After two weeks, it stopped lighting consistently (when pressing buttons).Any suggestions? Anyone else have issues with their players like this? The manual isn't very helpful. I'm hoping some of you have better insight. Thanks much!
what brand of memory cards do you use?
hey there! i'm curious, what brand of memory cards do you use? i used so far sandisk and lexar, but i will NEVER EVER use lexar. Why? well, i went to the mountain side, and after a hiking trip of about 6 hours to the mountain top and 5 hours back in town and about 200-300 images taken, my lexar memory card died. and i mean DIED! couldn't retrieve the data at all. tried a lot of data rescue software. none worked. and to get it to a professional data recovery center to get my data back...well, they said it'll cost me between 90 and 140 euros, vat (19%) not included. HM! for that money, i'd rather go and take the photos again! lol.Did you have any bad experience with memory cards? What brand were they?
Where can I find the right cords?
One of the resident's familys at work gave me a Sandisk Sansa c240. But they didn't have the cords for it. I can't seem to find them anywhere! Any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated. I tried the local MicroCenter and Ebay and Amazon. The Sandisk site didn't offer any assistance either. I am at a loss.
What size USB Flash Drive are you currently using?
USB Flash Drives are a Handy device if you have multiple computers or need to share files with others. They are also much smaller an easier to carry around then CDs or DVDs. With sizes now as large as 32GB and counting, the USB Flash Drive is becoming a very versatile piece of computing equipment. I am surprised at how reliable an asset that my USB Flash Drive has become to me. I currently use an 8GB Kingmax U-Drive, but I also have a 256MB Sandisk Cruzer Mini for smaller jobs. What brand and size USB Flash Drive do you use? Is your Flash Drive an important storage device or casually/seldom used.
Do you find good bargains at going-out-of-business stores?
Last month, on Attack of the Show I heard that Circuit City was going out of business after filing for Chapter 7 or Chapter 11 bankruptcy, and since i've been there a few times, such as relaxation CDs that cost less than $5 dollars, and getting a Sandisk Sansa M250 MP3 Player 2 Christmases ago, I started to get to know it a bit better. But now that I have enough money in my account, i've decided to find some good deals on tech devices there now that the store is going gray and shutting down like Windows XP. As a techno-nerd, this was my own way of going to a wake and paying my final respects to a store that lasted for 60 years, and I spent a decent amount of my "green bouquet of dollars" on what I wanted to my heart's content without holding back.On February 2, 2009, i've decided to find a good deal on low-cost netbooks for less than $500 that I could have as backup, but they've already ran out of them and had regular notebooks and laptops that were higher. So I decided to use Plan B and browse the store fast to find other good deals there. These devices were what I bought from the completely-malfunctioned-beyond-repair store:-Kensington Notebook Power Adapter...
WOW! things really have gotten a lot cheaper...
So I was looking at memory cards and trying to see if its worth getting the exterme III over the Ultra II.. and I found some posts on a forum from 2005 talking about the two memory cards and do you know how much they were back then?! $100!! A ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS! for a SanDisk Ultra II 1GB.... and guess how much you can get these for today? UNDER TEN DOLLARS! $10.Isn't that crazy?! when i read that i was like dang... $100 bucks for a SD memory card? i couldn't see myself paying that much.. i'm so glad that they are cheap now. [em]happy[/em]So what kind of memory card do you have? I have a couple of sankdisk 1GB and a kingmax 2GB and i plan on getting a 4 or 6GB sankdisk Ultra II

U3 technology
I LOVE MY NEW THUMB DRIVEI've beeen wanting one of these things for years and when Wal*Mart's back to school sale included a 2gig thumb drive from SanDisk under $13 I snapped it up. When I got it home I found out it was a U3 drive that supported programs loaded onto and run from the flash drive. I updated it with several free programs including firefox so that I could save my bookmarks when using the public library computers. I just discovered that I could save my tabs when signing off the computer so that they reload when I get back on. Not only where they there when I got another computer but they had refreshed to include new content. I LOVE THIS THING!!!
Napster being bought out?
http://news.yahoo.com/s/nm/20080915/tc_nm/napster_bestbuy_dc_2 Best Buy to buy Napster for $121 million By Yinka Adegoke Mon Sep 15, 11:20 AM ET NEW YORK (Reuters) - Best Buy Co Inc (BBY.N) plans to buy digital music service Napster Inc (NAPS.O) for $121 million in cash in an effort to compete with Apple's dominant iTunes service and its iPod music players. Best Buy, one of the largest retailers of CDs, and Napster, once the best known name in digital music, both offer digital subscription services, but neither have mounted much of a challenge to Apple, which holds more than 70 percent of the U.S. digital music market.Napster and Best Buy are betting they have a better chance by combining rather than competing with each other.Best Buy said on Monday it would pay $2.65 per Napster share, nearly double its closing price on Friday. Napster shares jumped 87 percent in early trading to $2.54.In 2006, Best Buy teamed up in with RealNetworks Inc (RNWK.O) and SanDisk Corp (SNDK.O) to create a digital music subscription service and compatible media player. The original Napster helped set the digital music market in motion in the late 1990s with a free music...
